The Jim McCabe story goes something like this....
back in the late '90s. Jim did the weekday breakfast gig on Wicklow's East Coast Radio and possibly weekend gigs on 98FM, but definitely at some stage weekend gigs with FM104.

Then in the '00s, he left for the breakfast gig on 98FM

Then, he left 98fm to do the breakfast gig on Lite FM.

When they relaunched as Q102, he returned to East Coast FM for the weekday breakfast gig, and also went down the corridor to do the mid-morning gig on Dublin's Country Mix 106.8.

Got PD position with 106.8 and left East Coast to do the breakfast gig on 106.8.

When Colm and Jim-Jim went to 2fm, Jim left Dublin's Country and came on board FM104 for the Strawberry Alarm Clock, and then was gone again this year when Jim-Jim returned... latter was one of the results of the demise of Gerry Ryan.

So, now he is back with 98FM again!

Maybe next time he will try Spin103!

Not to be too blunt about it but the 'Strawberry Alarm Clock' with Jim and Niamh wasn't really working anyway and it was only a matter of time before they found a new replacement that[might] would work!
