Gig offer.
The money is good and theres as much drink as you want , to be honest , you'll need a sh*t load of drink to get through this or maybe some hard drugs . I dont usually turn down work , but im just over a bad stomach bug and i dont really want another one, i have a reputation to consider and i have a family.
So, heres the gig , arrive about 9.00pm ,[ i can supply you with sound equipment etc] , get your first drink at the bar as people start to come in , you'll need it , make sure you bring a sick bag or two but only use in an emergency, if you fail to get to sick bag on time get the punters to clean it up, they wont mind , there use to it at home on a saturday night . Start off with some low key background music 'King of pain ' by The Police springs to mind but you can choose your own sounds. Bring a bouncer if its within the budget agreed with management and make sure he dosent refuse ticket holders who wear , Stripey jumpers, short sleeve shirts or hoodies, they've paid and are the heartbeat of the night . Might be a good idea to have some 'Euro dance music ' Scooter , Basehunter and Tiesto , you can mix this in with any Tony Christie songs. Call yourself D.J.' Hard Core ' or D.J. Wheel spin' At about 10 ish , welcome everybody along , keep this brief as you'll interupt family arguements about child pregnancies ,the rising costs of alcohol and the prison system. So to the gig , .................Scroll down for details. Saturday , Jan 30th 2009. South Dublin Celtic Supporters Club 10th annaversary night with special guests. Yeah i know . but im drinking my own p**s that night so im not available |

I know just the DJ for that gig ! Ill ring his mother tomorrow and ask her if she can spring him out on T.R. . He still in since the drug raid on the last gig he did in 2001. Although he is due for release soon and they have struck out his bench warrants for the Armed robbery .
Cheers Niall |
