Had this nightmare last night that I didnt manage to get my 6 tickets allocation for the upcoming U2 concerts.

Thankfully woke up realising that hey its only 6am..... relax, plenty of time, sure there will be no problem with your super dooper fast computer connection with the possibility of multiple connections... have coffee, breakfast, a few smokes... add more coffee(in case of dozing off) relax.

Ok so 7.45 ready to rock, lets do it we'll test the site, again.... eh hmmmm seems to be some problem with ticketmaster.ie..... no tickets available yet... keep trying dude you'll get there..... Oh wait 8.00 new error message 502, then a page cannot be displayed, then another one- then waits looks like we are in....no hold on, are you sure your computer has chosen to allow cookies ? hmmmm yes.... thats ok ... ok lets try again, best tickets available please.... hmmm no page cannot be displayed. I'll try again..... and again and again ..... oh wait I'm in yes 6 tickets please... enter your details and credit card number.... cool print out the page for your verification records.... wait, time out, you have taken more than the alloted 5 mins... disconnecting. Ok try again... damn page cannot be displayed... try gain etc until tickets sold out appears 57 mins later.

What! and this is all while also trying to reach the feckers on the phone (which never rang once).......

Now the question is Where there actually any tickets for sale via the internet or ticketmaster phone sales.... or had they all been bought up earlier than 7.45 ???????????????

Crap country, crap ticket agents..............

Can't beileve there only 2 nights in Dublin?
What a complete joke. They know they're going to get a 3rd and 4th night no problem. I wreckon they'd get enough people for a week. We know that they'll sell out 2 nights in a couple of minutes..why don't they just make it more nights. They're U2, for heavean's sake, they best band in the world? Where are they from? - Dublin. They've hit No.1 in the chart in almost every country in the world. I wreckon they'd sell 2 nights in Japan. That's how big of a joke I think it is.

me-"are you sure your on ticketmaster.ie and not .com?"
him-"yeah, there are no u2 tickets here?"
me-"its on the homepage, you cant miss them?"
him-"ah well i cant find them, have to go to school...bye!!!!"

There is defo a third night on,know sum1 who works in croke park&he said there booked for 3 dates. Most of the tickets were bought early thru the u2 website fan club thingie,if ur a member of it u cud have got your tickets from Monday hence why friday was bascially sold out b4 sales started on friday for everyone
&
oh my god the exact same happened to me when I was tryin to get a ticket to the prodigy,i hate ticketmaster so much! Actually posted up here my story, found it in search--

I was up since 8am friday morning to get my ticket & rang ticketmaster up but they said they were not on sale til 9am so I said grand & waited til 9,I decided to try & book online at 1st but the server thingie would not work&my order so wouldnt go through so rang them & had to wait for absolutly ages through listening of rubbish til I got through & then bookd my 1 ticket on a computer type booking agent when you dial different numbers for instructions but my order then would not get through & said its only five past 9 so that cant be right so tried booking online again but due to stupid server problems my order would not get through again so rang AGAIN & waited again & tried ordering a ticket but again it said it was unavailable so at this stage I was getting mad & waited on the phone til I got through to someone in ticketmaster. Finally someone came on & Ive always hated ticketbastard but this was disgraceful...I asked for 1 ticket to the prodigy & he said sorry they are not on sale til tomorrow and I said well its been released on all the press releases its this morning&on your site it says it too&I rang you guys at 8am & they said they were on sale at 9am so he went off to check so I was left on the phone for about 2mins listening to music. Finally gets back to me saying oh sorry your were right! What was that order again? I said I want 1 ticket! he goes ok 2 tickets to the prodigy and I said no 1 ticket & he goes oh ok sorry I'll get that for you now & he goes oh theres only one left!Do you want it?YES!at this stage I was about to go mad&then he starts telling me that hes going away this weekend so not very with it..then there was silence & he goes im really sorry but when I went to process your order it was taken! Its sold out!So I went ballistic saying I've been trying to get a ticket for ages either through the phones or online etc etc & ranting on how crap they were & your man couldnt care less,he apologised but you could tell he was near laughing so I just hung up. Ok things sell out, cant go everything but I'm just so annoyed with ticketmaster because it was there fault&errors that stopped me gettin a ticket...bad enough them ripping us off but they could at least give us a decent service for what there paid....rant over

Sorry to all who couldn't get one , but I have my tickets. The last time I was in Croke Park was back in '87 for a previous U2 gig. I'm looking forward to going back.

Hope those unlucky this time around will get tickets for the inevitable third gig.
