Hmmm... Is it just me or does our friend "Brake Out" have a very similar writing style to Euan "missing from the boards" Roberts???

Billy Bob, Sorry to disappoint you, concerning your suspicion that i may be a certain Euan Roberts. No I'm not. Your right, there is a similarity there. Are you worried because, i'm following the good example of Euan who contributed to many posts and was quite open and controversial in his commentaries. Afraid he might say something you don't like about radio. I assume you must be in the business if your concerned about his recent postings of late. He has put it straight down the line and has written from the heart at a guess. Some of his postings have being very informative and this person obviously has a good insight into what goes on in radio land. I guess you need someone like that to stir up reaction and controversy on certain topics.

I'm one hundred percent sure that the majority of programming, presentation, and management people in the various radio stations have noticed his commentaries of late. I hope they have, then maybe they can get off their fat asses and clean up and get rid of the wasters in radio stations that can't perform up to the standard particularly in presenatation and Music Programming.

People like you i would say are worried because the truth hurts so much. That's good. Euan is hopefully has made a small impact in radio people's minds to think twice about being in radio and not to presume anything. In order words, guys and girls if your reading this post, you should take all your positions seriously whether you work in presentation, music, management or programming.All your listeners now demand the highest standards in radio. No Bullshit anymore. Welcome to the real world, not the fantasy painted by certain insiders in radio that they are somehow immune from criticism. Forget it.

Seeing as though Euan has probably retired from Radio Anoraks forum, may he rest in peace. I will be his evil twin and try to match his open and mind boggling commentaries. So Billy Bob, no need worry about me, i'm just warming up and ready to hammer any radio station stepping out of line. No Defamation of characters just sensible postings from me.

Kelly Jones/ Slaps i'm deeply upset and annoyed that you chose character assination as your chosen weapon of defence. And no, i don't read defence magazines. This concerns Kelly Jones your disgraceful, misinformed and typical Irish Comment about me personally. What gives you the right to say i should be taking tablets. May I suggest your comments are very unwise and goes against the Forum rules of personal insulting postings such as your own concerning me.

For your information i suffer from Depression and Obessive Compulsive Disorder. Very dibilitating conditons to have. Something i would not wish anyone on this forum to suffer from. Your very personal suggestive comments such as the one you made concerning i take my tablets is highly inappropiate and has deeply upset me. And yes, i'm sensitive, and yes I'm a male and i do have feelings and emotions like women do. Depression in difficult enough to deal with without comments like that.


Concerning my recent postings, of course i come across as strange and somewhat weird, but i enjoy being like that, furthermore, writing and expressing my thoughts about radio topics keeps me going and has helped me to some degree. Sure some postings are hard to comprehend and take seriously, but everybody's different in life as you know. And no i don't ever look for self-pity, because quite frankly its too easy to be self-absorbed about your illness. Mood swings, a feeling of no hope, negative thoughts, lack of ability to concentrate, or motivate one'self these are part of Depression and vicous web that a person lives under for years.

I hope you can now understand why my postings are filled with anger and negativity about Radio to some extent but not all of the time. This doesn't excuse my unfortunate choice of words in some areas of my postings. Apologies if i insulted anyone on the forum for comments made about their postings. Regarding future postings, expect my personality to reflect what i write that's all. Finally, the medication i'm on which is for depression is working in certain areas which have benifited me.
