I would like to know is there a program that allows me to record live streaming audio off the net so I can burn it onto cd, I usaklly use Windows Media Player to listen to the audio. What I want to do is record some Irish radio stations off the net.

Hi Pierce,
Here's a few ideas,
Option 1:
Use media player to listen whatever and setup cooledit/soundforge to record what your listening to.
Option 2:
Use winamp to listen, although you might need to d/l the plugin that supports realaudio from http://www.winamp.com . When you have this installed you simply go to options->preferences->plugins->output and select "nullsoft disk writer". Click on configure and you can then select where you want to save the stream to.

Hope that helps,
D.

You could try to use Audacity, Freecorder, Recordforall, streaming audio recorder and refer to tutorials.

Audacity, as you can edit the file afterwards and save in different formats.
