Does anyone know when RTE plan to get their thumb out of their ass and broadcast on Sky Digital??

Errr, wake up my man! :)

It's common knowledge that they will start broadcasting officially on April 23rd. TV3 have also said they will start on that date too.

You can check out the tests if you know how to add channels on your digibox...

The tv channels are giving an "08 not available"

The radio channels are free to air and can be heard on Sky Digiboxes across the British Isles at present:
RTÉ Radio 1 9611
2FM 9612
Lyric FM 9614
R na G 9613

Personally me thinks that Astra 2d was a lousy satelite for the radio stations given that its footprint is much smaller than the older ones.

was reading that someone living in south eastern europe would need a horrendously big dish to listen to them (2 meters i think)

Will i be able to recive Network 2 on my Sky reciver in the UK. I can get 2FM but all i get on Network 2 in 08. Can anyone let me know if i will be able to recive Network 2 as from 23rd.

I'm afraid you won't, nor any of the other tv channels, which are now on the Irish EPG.

101 RTÉ 1
102 N2
103 TV Three (notice it's TV3 on the EPG)
104 TG4

You WILL be able to get our radio stations, which are now at

914 2FM
915 Lyric FM
916 RnaG
