Was listening to 2Fm and Radio One the other morning when couldn't sleep and was noticed some big differences

On Ryan's Breakfast show I Listened to Frank Sinatra that took him 10 minutes to link into.

On Radio One Sixpence none the richer was been played.

Nothing wrong with the songs just wondered which station was the pop station?????

Just finished reading the piece in today's Mirror (generally a crap newspaper, but that's by-the-by) on Ryan Tubridy.

He himself claims the show was 'crap' when it first started. Now according to the Mirror he is tipped by some as the next Gaybo or Pat Kenney (I don't see how that's a compliment, Kenney is the most anodyne and boring thing on radio or telly).

They claim thousands now love the show and are all tuning in. I don't know as I haven't - but what do you all think. The only comment I am qualified to make at present is that from his photo Ryan looks like a young HENRY KELLY.

Your thoughts.... Is it all a bunch of PR spin or is 2FM still wide of the mark?

Its all Spin (pardon the pun)..the only thing that Ryan Tubridy has in common with Gaybo is that he carries on like a man in his 60s (from the 2FM website...hates "dance music" ...cutting edge to the end !).

For the love of god, put him back on RTE Radio 1, where listeners liked him, and he had a pretty good show...I'm almost feeling sorry for the bloke now, hes like a fish out of water ("they only let me play one beatles song a day" was a recent rant of his on-air)

He is so bad on Radio its a complete kick in the hole for anyone who has worked hard through the years to get to 2FM.

There are so many great people doing great Radio in this country ......In fact Charlie i think your very own Richie O Shea would be perfect on Breakie 2FM..................I think Richie is the man..........Great Jock ....or what about Rick O Shea....?

Why is this guy on the Radio (any Radio)never mind the National (so called Pop Station)

Its not often i come here to attack people but for god's sake Ryan is just terrible...........

Is this the worst breakfast show in the history of Irish radio? From a country that gave us quality breakfast shows from Nova, Energy, Pat Courtnay on 98. how could 2fm get it so wrong?
