Excuse me if my spilling is a bit inkorrrredt, but i've just stooud in a dj box for three hours totally unassisted by light
When asked for a spare light bulb tonight the manager replied ' na, light bulb ? what do ya need light for all yer doin' is playin' a few tunes !!!!!!!!!!!!
Anybody else experiencing (or have experienced) incredulously badly serviced equipment lately (or in the past) ?
And do venues give a sh*t ?, or is it only when the tills aren't working ?

One to change the light bulb..... and one to record the promo for 'the newly installed , state of the art, 60 watt lighting system' !

One of the venues I play in on a weekly basis, had no little lights or anything in the DJ box, and despite requests from me nothing was done, so it was a baby torch that rescued me, but they had a big guest DJ in a couple weeks ago, and VOILA , not one, but two move-able lights so I could see not only inside my record bag but I could see the mixer aswell !!

I recall a certain nightclub not too far off the Luas that had a Mark 2 Denon that had a right deck that was not working for literally months and months while another night in it, the agent I was supposed to be working for didn't know how to turn on the lights in it ewven though he booked the jocks for it.
If only I could think of which spot it was.......
