The first details of Ireland’s one and only dance music festival this year have been announced.

Love03 will take place at Shane’s Castle, County Antrim, on Saturday, September 13th.

It will run from 2pm until 2am and in true Planet Love form, will see some of the most famous DJs and artists from around the world fly into Northern Ireland for the biggest day in the Irish dance music calendar this year. 10,000 people are expected to attend this fully licensed event.

Next Thursday, July 3rd, the line up will be unveiled. Then, the following morning, Friday July 4th at 9.30am, the tickets for Love03 will go on sale priced just £35 (plus booking fee).

“We’ll be building on the festival experience aspect particularly this year,” says promoter Eddie Wray. “There will be special chillout areas, fire eaters, Café Mambo-style bongo players, masseurs, and special additions to make the overall festival experience a very pleasurable one. It will be very unique. As for the line up, we’ll be flying DJs and artists in from around the world for the event and their styles will be representative of the prevalent music tastes in Ireland right now.”

A new website devoted to the Love03 will be launched tomorrow. www.planetlovemusic.com will be the main source of information about the upcoming event and will unveil the first line up details at 3pm on Thursday July 3rd.

Excitement has been mounting about this groundbreaking event among dance music aficionados since shortly after last year’s momentous festival. The line up as always will generate a lot of anticipation with people already guessing as to which DJs will appear. In previous years artists such as Paul Van Dyk and Faithless headlined the event.


“Planet Love fans will not be disappointed,” says event co-ordinator Sandra Gourley. “In less than a week, all will be revealed.”

And so with tantalising thoughts of cool beers in the sun, and some of most celebrated names in world dance music coming to a great big field in County Antrim for your entertainment, the countdown to Love03 is on.

Very poor Lineup.

Only a handfull of Dj's Id be interesting in seeing, and none of them I would really go out of my way to see. i.e drive to Belfast

Yea, very very poor line up, i would definately go just to see the world famous DJ Frank Kennedy!

personally i think the reason for a poor line up is because they have no competition with no homelands or creamfields so why fork out the money for more expensive djs??
