The Tivoli (Influx) owe a substanital amount of money to their creditors, and seeming that alot of the recent gigs' have suddenly been cancelled for no apparent reason (well a reason that was akin to that of the Temple Theatre) the place is closing.
Two weeks in a row the place ran out of beer, there have been Garda raids on the place, there has been licencing difficulties ( I know because I do work for the Tivoli) down to the management has fucked up by not giving answers.
I cannot divulge what has happened due to work-place confidenitality, but all shall be revealed in the coming days.
Someone said below, I can't see it being true, but why else would they be changing their music policy to try and get more customers inside with Jurgen Vries and JFK (Remember he was to be the next best thing? Look at him wasting away now) all of this because they have serious debts to pay and there is no other way of getting them paid.
If it ain't broke, why fix it ? Well it is obvious it is 'broke' as the music policy would NOT be changing.
Can't say it hasn't been happening for a long time.
