I was wondering how the Easter bank holiday weekend went for the working jock. Was your venue busy or quiet? Was there something lacking from this holiday. I was all over the country and it seemed a little on the dull side and not very busy in most places.
Did good friday make people realise that staying in, is the new going out, especially when it doesnt cost you €5 for a pint!

Didnt see dullness anywhere. Iwas in both donegal and dublin for it. Donegal was mad busy but it always is on a long weekend due to northern ireland peeps coming over. Viperoom in dublin was very aswell. Goo weekend, I would say.
Wednesday - great gig, one of my favourites of the year so far, Friday night figures in and some compliments off staff. So far, so good.
Thursday - Oh dear, where is everyone? "Beer gardens" and "the sun" are mooted as reasons for what is traditionally a mad busy night. Cue 5 DJ's text/ringing me with "where the f*ck is everyone?!"
Friday - Kelly Jones gets rat arsed at a house party
Saturday - Bank holiday Saturdays are usually shite, this was no exception. 400 peeps below my usual figures and a very flat atmosphere regardless of what I played. Tough gig!
Sunday - Now THIS was the head scratcher ........... 700 peeps in when we'd normally get a thousand on a Bank Holiday Sunday. Sign of the times or was everyone just down the country?
Last night - suprisingly busy but messy
How did you do Ian?

Thursday was suprisingly good with everybody drinking as if it was the end of the world , Friday was hangover day with lots of God things to do [yeah right ], Saturday huge ,over 1100, Sunday filled up early and never stopped , Last night started bad with ''Who 's Eddie '' doin their usual tacky dirty jokes and dreadful covers ,although a half decent crowd appeared in the end .
Now as for tonight ? difficult one to call.
