If memory serves me right, didnt they come back in the early 1990s for a while on all their old frequencys am and fm.

Yes, Breffni Radio did make a return to the air on 657 kHz Medium Wave in November 1989 and was on the air for about three weeks. The station was raided and never returned to the air. It would have certainly given Northern Sound some very serious competition, but then again, I'm biased!

Bray seems to have a good history of stations.

Anyone remember when Eamonn Cooke came back from his holidays, only to find, all of the then staff at Radio Dublin had left to start Big D?

Beat Fm. This was a low-powered automated station from ABC on 87.6FM in 2000. It was hard to see the point of it.

Bliss fm are back on air. Their calling themselves Rise fm these days.
Anyone know anything about Ballymun Community Radio from the 80's?

I am sure I have a recording of Ballymun Community Radio somehwere. Didn't it move to center city and become Dublin Community Radio which in turn became Kiss FM from Foley street ?
Much the same people invloved along the line as far as I remember.
