Who's sticking that modulated tone into the 252KHz transmitter?

As far as i know there's a technician sometimes on site - if i were him i'd stick in something more interesting than a test tone :D

The Transmitter probably needs occassional maintenance even though its not in regualr use.

RE: putting out iteams of anorak interest given the high electricity costs of even an hours operation of a 500Kw Valve transmitter I think some engineer would be in trouble with their boss if they were found to be engaging in such frivolity
