Hey all, im putting together a top ten list of the funniest tunes ever for my show. Anyone any ideas? The likes of weird al etc? Thanks:)

I heard The Muppets' song mena mena (spelling?!) on Ray D'Arcy's show yesterday and it had me in stitches.
But imo anything by Monty Python should always be in a chart like this..."Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" being the best.

If like me you like bleak humour, I'd have to nominate "flowers on the wall" by the Stadtler Brothers (I think). Its from the Pulp Fiction soundtrack - and boy is it black humour at its best.
The Smiths were a group who were considered "depressing" but in fact have some of the funniest lyrics ever put to paper.
Oh yeah, and Ray Davies from the Kinks.

:eek: I was thinking out loud Elaine :D
But what I mean is the songs that get you out of bed in the morning. Walking on Sunshine is a good one for that. Dancing around brushing your teeth. Thats too much information I know. So what did you think of my ideas?

This isn't a funny ha-ha song, but the humour in "One Horse Town" by the Thrills is great! Dry like the sahara, and a great sing-a-long tune as well.

Yep i like your ideas, thanks a mill!! I may not call them "top tunes to dance around to naked" though.....lets just stick with "top ten feel good tunes" lol. Ill get to that in a week or two.
Also top ten banned songs? Good idea!! your trying to get me thrown off the airwaves, arnt you?;)
