Does anyone remember Ray Summers ( Irwin ) on Century Radio doing the saturday night gig . I found some old recordings that I made at the time and have to say they are real classics . Does any know if there are any mixes he did during the 80's that are available for download ?

Hi Brian I asked this question a few years back on this very site.If i remember corectly he doesent dj on radio now I think he could be gone from Djn altogether Think he lives in the south east could be Wickow.I also have some recordings of the Saturday Nite Party somewhere(if i could find them) would be nice if the Admin here would put some of the recordings up on this site.To answer your question do I no where you could download some of the old shows.I don't but would also be intrested to find out so I could download them also.

Ray was ahead of his time when you think the frase MIXED LIVE BY RAY SUMMERS actualy was mixed with vinyl live sounded great beats would go out a little but 9 times out of 10 he would get it spot on. There was no PCDJ RED them days . I remember he had an awful set in Tecnotronic think it was called Get up on you feet and Sonia listen to your heart.Aaaha good times!!!!!!!!!
