It is the first time Ireland has qualified for the final in four years. Can we win it? Do we want to win it? More importantly, if we win, would we be happy about it? Given the cost of hosting it, we end up footing the bill.

It's been a farce of a competition for ages now.

The final is tonight though. Any thoughts on it? :innocent:

Just to add, we are only 16 to 1 to win it.

However, Greece started at around 50-1 and are now only 25-1. Ten quid for a potential 260 return. Not a bad bet :)

The reason for this is there is word that countries are going to back them to win because of their National Debt. But if they were to actually win, they would have to work their socks off to promote the contest and try to milk it as much as possible for revenue gains.

Anyway, love or loathe the contest.......it's on tonight :)

Actually Graham, yes it did. We, Ireland, didn't win. I had Greece to win. Greece to be in top 10. Germany to win, Azerbaijan to win/EW. Total bets cost 40 euro. Total rake was €554.46. So yeah, it went well ;)
