bad frequency, rte tend to have a fit if you go to near to them. plus radio 1 is more talk than music so you'd have to use an optimod or something.

The Umpa Lumpa crew probably playing with a post x-mas present............ Who do we know with a convincing track record of pulling such high risk manevours and droping a rejuvinated station to a location that inevitably pisses someone off?
A bit nasty I admit but if the cap fits........... slaughter it......

How come RTE throw a fit if you go 0.3 from them but today FM are resigned to the presence of R Dublin ?
As long as youre careful with mod levels (most pirates and even the odd legal are overmodulated) you shouldnt cause any problems
Oh and dont run insane power levels in a built up area

Apparently they (Today FM) did initially complain about Radio Dublin but I presume gave up.
Anyway looking at a Dublin freq list there are stations 0.3 away from RTE stations as well
BTW re. overmodulation, If you have RDS make sure the RDS sub-carrier is at the correct level. I have heard of stations with the RDS subcarrier set way too high and this causes the station to 'spread' too much as well!
