I just heard that Newstalk are launching a new gay issues show on Saturday evenings. Think its the first in Dublin. What do you all think?? Bit daring for a new station????

Pink On Red hosted by Risteard Keating has been on RedFM since our first week on air. It is the first programme of its type in Ireland.

It is a gay man doing a show - far better than what I fear will be a 'gay issues' show (which my gay friends tell me they find pandering and pathetic - they just want good music and talk about good shoes :) )

I for one am pretty happy with the sound of this. Seeing as I'm probably one of the few that this show will represent on this board.

I just hope it isn't, as charlie says, pathetic and pandering - and you could add condescending and poorly informed to that list.

Well done Charles - second opinion of yours I've agreed with here. And the last one was months ago.
