I'm looking for software that can take my .avi movie files, convert them to .vob, and burn them onto DVD.

I found one which worked very well about a year ago...but have forgotten the name of it since then!

Was looking for the exact software a while back and all the freebees I tried started to look for money and I didn't trust 'em !! I paid to upgrade to real player plus, its about 25 euro but works perfectly, and no grief either.

I didn't even download it as I can see the free version has a watermark and it's $40 for the clear one. I'm always suspicious of giving money to companies I don't know !!!!

Yeah...I got ConvertXtoDVD. It's available for nothing, if you know where to look!

Works a treat. And very fast too, but sometimes the DVD seems quite "stuttery", or can skip and jump...even though I'm converting and burning at the highest quality. I'll have to try fiddle with a few settings!
