Has anybody seen this appaling excuse for an entertainment program? I was flicking channels last Sunday night and came across this terrible piece of crap - is thsi waht we pay our licence for.

Am I alone or is Linda Martin the ultimate cringe factor?

The whole show is cringeworthy... from Linda to the freaks leading the teams (what are those megs like???), to the cheesy tunes, to the "Ah! I know a song with 'better' in the title" then proceeding to play it note perfect (yeah right, no pre-show prep at all), to the crowd standing and clapping along... but it's made a fortune for its creators. Bastards!

Ireland hasn't had a decent gameshow since.....ehh....Quicksilver and it's sixpenny-round questions.

However, the use of telepathy on the Lyrics Board is amazing. Count how many times a team will say, "we think we have a tune...blah blah blah.." and before they finish the sentence, the band are already halfway through the songs intro.

Whilst Linda is cringeworthy, it'll never be a patch on Joe Duffy's performance at the Irish World Cup Squad homecoming.

I usually watch it on a sunday for about ten minutes for a good old laugh. I thought it was just me who thought its the cheesyest show on earth. Its soooooo sad. Oh lets all sit around a piano and sing silly songs while the audience clap along like gob shites. I think its the funniest show ever. Why is it theres always one ejit off one of the teams who decides it would be a good idea to get up off his/her seat with a mic and proceed to walk around the audience singing thinking hes the best thing since sliced bread? Oh and dont even get me started on linda martin.

Mind you, I thought Linda's pink frock on last Sunday's show was just SO pretty - I wonder where she got it from...........................

Got to agree with Elaine - it is good for a laugh, with all them gobshites, both audience and guests. Bring back Aengus McAnally - all is forgiven.
