We are delighted to announce that there is a new FULLY LICENSED station about to be launched in the North West within the next few months. We are proud to say after 6 years of hard work it has resulted in the city getting its first Community Radio.
Richard Moore (Director of Project) “A lot of hard work by many people has got us to this stage and I am delighted that Drive FM will be an integral part of our Local Community. I would ask the local community from all sectors to get behind this very exciting initiative, we want to liaise with local schools, Universities, business’s, churches and the Voluntary sector etc to ensure the station represents the community. We shall be test transmitting shortly, and hope to be up and running sometime early 2009”
