I have been out of the country for some time, and have only recently returned. Many years ago I found myself working for Anna Livia in Grafton St, and had the pleasure of working with some brilliant people (and some bleedin plonkers too !). Does anyone know where some of the old heads have gone and where they are working now - if they are in Radio or TV or where. I'm sure there are bound to be a few in Montrose and maybe even the Beeb.

I hear a few of 'em are in RTE, including Nuala Carey (she of the weather team), Anne Marie Green, Jonathon Clinch, Brian Lally.
Last I heard Colman O'Sullivan was in Belfast working for the BBC and Barry Byrne was in Donegal with Highland.
Barry Dunne is at 98 and Suzanne Byrne is over at Lite
Any Others ?

Cheers Loopy P and Trojan - there seems to be more of them all over the shop - I hear Tom Fabozzi is over at Lite.
Anyone think of anyone else ? whatever happened to Brendan Cronin and Eileen from Grafton St - and, oh yeah, that absolutely FANTASTIC marketing dept ? (note sense of irony here !)

Hi Sniper,
most of the emails you have recieved are more or less correct.
Brendan Cronin is freelancing Jounalism.
Jim O' Brien is doing god knows what out in LITE!
Susan Downey last heard in Mary Tyler Moore Studios as a sound engineer out there!
Pat Proctor is up around Letrim with the local Radio station up there! Stays in touch with some of the crew in AL.
Stevo Berubbe (?) is still there, Colm O' Hare, Dave and Gavin, Ian Thomas.......Mick Murray....Charlie Hussey.........all the Sports crew.....BP Fallon does the odd gig in there.
By the way, they are no longer in Griffith College, they have moved to The Liffey Trust!
I could be here all night!
Depends on who you might be looking for in particular?
Best of luck with your search!

Anyone remember Evening Edition? Or John McDonnell and Brian Lally's five o'clock show? Paul Moloney anyone? Options Radio Productions? Peter Vamos? (Worked with Chris Barry and then went to RTE, I think?) Warren Stevens?

Lotza names I recall from my brief time at Anna Livia. It suffered from having far too high a staff circulation really to make a biger impact but yeah it seems to have beena good training ground.... I worked with Jer Moorehead, the Beeb he's gone to, fair play to him! Name Brian Lally rings a strong bell but I hear him on RTE now. Who remembers John McDonnell? What sorta impact did he make? Radio wise and with fellow staff members?

What's Jer doing at the BBC? He was a sound bloke. John McDonnell did some work for Radio Ireland and now he's a big cheese at Midlands Radio 3. He was a nice guy too. SO many nice people actually...
