So who are the groups up and down the country readying themselves for a community radio application?

1 Dundalk Weekend Radio

2 Liffey Sound FM

You know of any more?

I believe theBallinasloe Fair and festival Committee will be running a special interest/community station for the duration of the October Fair in ballinasloe on 102.8FM. More details on the station at www.ballinasloe.com

in mayo, Knock FM has proven to be a major success during its week, ditto Erris FM. its vital that these stations continue to thrive because without them local idenity can be swallowed up in the regional or national scene.

Sorry to be a pedant but surely Knock FM can't really be called a prospective new station; they were awarded a licence in the middle of last year:

OK, they're prospective because they're not on yet but they do have a licence. On that note, does anyone have any info on when Knock & Cashel CRs might be coming on air?
