Hello my name is John Roche from Dublin- South Circular Road. I am a 1st year student in Ballyfermot College of Further Education. My course is 2 years duration and its title is Higher National Diploma in Media. I am looking to do some work experience in a radio station for 2 weeks. I know i might have left things a bit late- i'm supposed to start on Monday 15th- i am very interested in radio however and have done very well so far this year. I would be very grateful if i could learn more from an established Dublin station so please get back to me if you could and sorry for leaving it so late. I am also very interested in comedy so i would look to enjoy the experience also. Thanks John Roche.

Jesus ya really did leave it late didn't you! At this stage most of the bigger stations will either be booked up and/or won't want work experience people. Your best bet & the best way for you to get hands on experience would be to go for the community stations and hospital stations. You'll find a list here (http://www.bci.ie/licensed_operators/community_radio.html).
