Planning A Move?

See that Q102 have applied to the planning office for permission to change the use of a premises at 87 Rossdowney Road (Opposite Ballyowen cemetary) from a dwelling to office and studios.. (planning application recorded in the Journal, Tuesday 6th August.) Are they on the move or is something else going down?

I think it could be something to do with the property they are currently in, (the old railway station).
Apparently they are the only ones occupying the building at present as all the other businesses (the health board etc) have all moved out suddenly. Something to do with fumes (gas) and it was affecting staff health.
So maybe a survey has been done, and found the building was dangerous, considering all the electrical equipment and radiowaves in the building this could prove a hazzard in the near future.
I know the studio and production area was ripped out and refurbished recently, so money would have been wasted there.

Not sure if you`re quite right in all your thoughts on this issue, but I have to agree with one observation, Something definately stinks.

true, the station is fine and maybe the reason to move is just.

The "Move" taking place in 3-4 weeks to the address mentioned in previous posts to this topic.
Apparently it is to have 2 on air studios, production and news room and offices.
