I do not live in Ireland and I am from the USA. I have read on the Newspage that radio Dublin /Heartbeat are running a program tomorrow Sunday at !2.00pm to explain what is happening at the radio Dublin Network. Is it possible for someone to record this for me are upload it to the internet so we can all hear what is going on. If you can tape it and give me a copy please e-mail me @ Pierce@McDonnell.org

Reading between the lines it came across to me that the broadcast was intended more for whoever has been causing them problems, rather than the listeners.
In the case of Radio Dublin, does anybody feel any sympathy? The saying "what goes around, comes around" comes to mind for some reason.

Not the 1st time Radio Dublin have aired their dirty laundry in public, but hey,I'm sure it got a few listeners for a change.

I'm sure whatever Joe had to say was of great interest to himself and maybe 10 other people ... yesterdays men me thinks.

Re: Heartbeat v Cabra Choice
I'm making an announcement now that I intend to start a station on 90.2Fm. I'm not ready to get going yet, in fact it could take me months or years, but I thought I'd state my intentions now because that apparantly means more than actually having a station on the frequency.
So, if anybody else intends using it, the agreement is you have to get off when I'm ready to start, and if you don't I'll blast you out of it with a more powerful tx.
Thank you.

Yeah the broadcast said very little it didnt really answer any questions and raised quite a few.
The anorak in me hopes R Dublin comes back but Im wondering though who in their right minds is going to offer premises to them given these "Security problems" which theyve been experienced which are obviously pretty serious ?

Agreed! It was hardly a great advertisement to anyone who might want to put them up!
Radio Dublin had its day. Listening to old 70s and 80s tapes, it is just not recognisable anymore, and almost an insult to the great station it once was (whatever about behind the scenes).

All that "Eamon-esque" babble, and nothing of ANY substance!!!
What was he on about? Why did I even expect anything more than waffle and clouded secrets?
BTW John: Thanks for putting the abridged recordings on the site. Ment I didn't have to listen to a full hour of that confused drivel :0)

All we need now is for Doyler to start coughing & spluttering every few words and we've Eamon Mk2.
