John & All,

Whilst taking a load of tapes from my parents house last week I came across a copy of the Clare McKeown Phone Show from 17/9/1991 in which they discussed the state of radio in Ireland, were we better off or should we bring back the pirates etc. The panel was Paul Cooney, PC at Century at the times, Kevin Healy, Director of Radio at RTE and Declan Lynch. I've only re-listened to the first 15 minutes so far and it sounds fasciniating knowing what we know now.

Would you be interested in it for Radio Retro?

This recording has been received - thanks Brian - and, glitches permitting, will be on Radio Retro next week.

No glitches, but unfortunately the recording contained edits making it unsuitable for Radio Retro. It has however been added to our Anorak Audio section...
