I remember about up to 3 or 4 years ago a station called KISS FM in Monaghan was boardcasting. The signal was weak where we got it (Randalstown area) and it broadcast either on the 106 to 107 freqeunices in northern ireland anyway.

It played pop music and dance just like kiss 106 (dundalk) did only that stated it was kiss fm in monaghan does anyone no of this station? and if it is still in existance??????

Yeah remember that station myself it used to broadcast on 107.4fm.. Also went out on Energy106.6 for a night or two..I remember the jingle( Kiss103.7 and 107.4 this is kissfm monaghan) And no this station does not exist anymore think they where shut down...They used to have a website but cannot remember the address.. This station ran from the same site as Energy106.6 And Magic 105.1... think a staion called y107.4 replaced the kiss103.7/107.4 a few years later..correct me if i,m wrong...

Yes... it ran on a couple of frequencies for a long time. The 107.4 ran from Alien Mountain for a while, using a 300watt BW rig.
They had mast problems, and antennae problems, and in later years ran a PC using raduga.

I think they dropped out, as people moved on, and broke up.

They kept the flag flying. But running a high power rig (150watts plus), in a town, caused problems.

They helped out a lot, when the entire Alien Mountain Container was blown several tens of yards upside down, due to the winds of 98.
