Hello. This is my first post. Been reading the board for a few months now. Never posted as I never really had anything to contribute. So I should probably start by introducing myself.

I'm a new dj from the states. I recently got into dj'ing about 7 months ago.
I've been writing my own electro music for almost 5 years now, which lead me into dj'ing in the first place.

ANYWAYS, my question is. Does anyone produce their own music?
Out here there really aren't any dj's that create original music.

If there is would there be any chance I could maybe give it a listen?

Also does anyone have any of their mixes online? I always like to hear how other dj's mix songs, as that is something that I am still pretty horrible at doing.

Hey there Ice,

Im probably a bit like yourself. I have been "trying" to produce my own funky/electro/tech house music for the past 3 years. When I started at first a had like about 15 tracks finished but they were all so amatuer and terrible that I ended up deleting them off my hard drive.
Im starting to take it a bit more seriously now though and im using more professional software and stuff, so hopefully ill strike the right chord one of these dayz

Anyway, unfortunately I dont have any of my own stuff online right now but ill keep u post if & when i do get my own website together.

Also, being from the states, you may or may not have heard of 'Mylo'?? He's a scottish producer who has had a really great debut album out last year called 'Destroy Rock & Roll'. Its sort of electro/chill/funky stuff. Check it out!

So anyway, best of luck in your production - hope you stick with it. :)
